The i5-7500 is about 10% faster but i doubt it"ll make a massive difference in most games, but those that are CPU intensive you"ll get slightly better performance so i would personally go for it if it"s not too straining on your budget. Here is a comparison between the two > http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i5-7500-vs-Intel-Core-i5-7400/3648vs3886Hope this helps *Edit* Interestingly, the tốc độ rank of the 7400 is 63rd whilst the 7500 is 25th that"s quite a big jump for a small price according lớn UserBenchmark which i have found a pretty reliable site.

Even if this is solved, so that I won"t open another topic, I would like to continue this because I don"t consider it solved and cpu.benchmark isn"t that reliable vs. Day-to-day operation & most benchmarks are synthetic.I face the same issue because it"s about 25$ difference & that 25$ difference might be resulting in a better mobo with more features, or a better case for my final system. Either way, those are 25$ which I would want to know how khổng lồ spend giving these circumstances:1. I already own a GTX1060 3GB Gigabyte OC2. I have a 75Hz monitor, so any more than that number of FPS is irrelevant.3. Artificially created tests khổng lồ predict Ryzen 1500X and 1600X from a 1800X (contenders for the 7400/7500/7600 pricwise) tells us that it will still be behind or at least on par with Intel.Ok, so the third point might prove to be quite different on launch day, because we might have a surprise, but I highly doubt it since the architecture is confirmed khổng lồ be the same, and the CPU will have only half the cores và lower cache, so I expect it khổng lồ be actually about 2-5% slower than the artificial tests made by some youtube channels. So, in the end, is that difference of 25$ worth the 400 MHz boost?
